Carondelet girls spend their first two years in an all-girls setting, then share classes with De La Salle in junior and senior year. With more than two dozen AP courses and a STEM center that opened in 2019, there’s a lot to take on, and a tutor can help students make the most of it.

Our UC Berkeley tutors work with Carondelet students across the curriculum: math up to AP Calculus, biology, chemistry and physics, English, history and languages, plus the planning it takes to carry several AP courses at once. Sessions are one-on-one, at your home or online.
A tutor who fits your daughter
We match each student with a tutor chosen for the subject and for the kind of person she would enjoy learning from. If your daughter would like to work with a woman studying science or engineering at Berkeley, tell us, and we’ll arrange it.
Junior and senior year
In junior and senior year, when classes are shared with De La Salle and college planning begins, the week gets fuller. We help with SAT and ACT prep and college essays.
Applying to Carondelet
Every applicant takes the High School Placement Test, and students may take it only once. For fall 2027 entry, the test is on Saturday, January 9, 2027, the same morning as De La Salle and the other Catholic high schools of the Diocese of Oakland, and applications are due in December. Our HSPT prep starts in the fall, begins with a practice test and builds up to full timed tests before the day.
