Alamo grew up as walnut country, and today the Iron Horse Trail runs through the middle of town, past the neighborhoods that send their kids to Alamo Elementary, Rancho Romero and Stone Valley Middle School. Our tutors are UC Berkeley students who work with Alamo families online and in person.
From Stone Valley to high school
Stone Valley graduates split between two high schools, Monte Vista and San Ramon Valley High, depending on where they live. Both follow the same district math sequence and both have big AP programs, so a tutor who knows the path can help whichever way your student goes. Before that, many Alamo families think about the 5th-grade math placement test and the accelerated middle school track, and we help with those too.
Alamo schools
We tutor students from Stone Valley Middle School, Monte Vista and San Ramon Valley High, as well as Alamo families at The Athenian School, Carondelet and De La Salle.
Sessions are one-on-one, online or in person. Tell us about your student to get started.
