From Hartz Avenue and the old railroad depot to the Iron Horse Trail and Mt. Diablo on the skyline, Danville has a strong sense of place, and its schools are a big part of it. Every October the Run for Education fills the streets to support San Ramon Valley schools. Our tutors are UC Berkeley students who work with Danville families online and in person.
The San Ramon Valley path
Danville’s public schools follow a traditional math sequence, and acceleration starts early. In spring of 5th grade, students can take a placement test that may move them ahead in 6th grade, and later the district’s summer math program lets students advance a course. Middle schools offer an accelerated track to Algebra 1 in 8th grade, then on to Monte Vista or San Ramon Valley High, both with large AP programs and block schedules. We help at every step, from that first placement test to AP Calculus and the college essays.
Danville schools
We tutor students from Monte Vista, San Ramon Valley High, Charlotte Wood, Los Cerros, Diablo Vista, The Athenian School and St. Isidore, as well as Danville families at Carondelet and De La Salle.
Many Danville families choose online sessions, and in-person sessions are available too. Tell us about your student, and we’ll find the right tutor.
