Albany is small, close-knit and right next door to campus. Plenty of UC Berkeley families live at University Village, and plenty of Albany kids grow up walking Solano Avenue to school. Our tutors are Berkeley students who can get to most of Albany in a few minutes.
Albany’s path through math
Albany Middle School teaches math through CPM, a team-based curriculum that spirals back over earlier ideas, and in 8th grade students take a placement test that helps decide who starts Albany High in Accelerated Math 1-2, the track designed for AP Calculus BC. We help students with independent practice and cumulative tests in middle school, and with the faster pace once they’re in the accelerated sequence.
Albany schools
We tutor students from Albany High School and Albany Middle School, and Albany families at Saint Mary’s College High School, whose campus is in Albany.
Sessions are one-on-one, at your home or online. Tell us what your student needs, and we’ll take it from there.
