Our tutors come to your home in Cupertino or meet online, and every session is one-on-one. From Math 6 Flex in Cupertino Union to AP courses at Monta Vista, Cupertino High and Homestead, our tutors help middle school and high school students with math, science and English and writing.

Working at home helps students practice study habits in the same place they do their homework, so the routines from tutoring are easier to keep using between sessions.

How middle school math placement works in Cupertino

Cupertino Union students take Math 6 Flex in 6th grade, then enter Math 7, Math 7+ or Algebra 1 in 7th grade. Placement considers assessments and classroom work; consideration for 7th-grade Algebra also requires at least a B+ in first-semester math. We can help students understand the work they are doing now, revisit topics they find difficult and practice explaining their reasoning.

Moving up to Fremont Union high schools

Monta Vista, Cupertino High and Homestead are part of the Fremont Union High School District. As students prepare for high school, a tutor can review the math their next class will build on and help them manage longer reading and writing assignments. We use current coursework to decide what to practice, then help students carry those skills into the first weeks of high school and beyond.

We also help with SAT and ACT prep and college essays.

Cupertino-area schools

We’ve tutored students from Cupertino High School, Monta Vista, Homestead and The Harker School. Nearby, we also have pages for Saratoga High, Prospect High and Fremont High in Sunnyvale.
