Good writing makes a difference in every class, not just English. Our tutors help students organize their ideas, make a clear argument and say what they mean.
From first drafts to AP English
Our tutors are current and former Stanford students who write constantly in their own classes. They help students with essays, reading comprehension, grammar and literature, from middle school language arts through AP English Language and AP English Literature.
We don’t write essays for students. Instead, a tutor works alongside them, brainstorming, outlining and revising, so the ideas and the voice stay their own and the skills carry over to the next assignment.
College essays too
For juniors and seniors, our tutors also help with the Common App essay, supplemental essays and the UC Personal Insight Questions. Learn more about our college application help.
