We help Atherton students with everything from elementary math to college essays. We tutor math, science and English and writing for middle school and high school students, prepare students for ISEE and SSAT entrance exams and the SAT and ACT, and coach study skills.

The Las Lomitas math pathways
Part of Atherton is served by the Las Lomitas district, including La Entrada. Its 2026–27 math pilot offers grade-level, one-year compacted and two-year compacted pathways. Compacted courses cover more material in the same time, and Bridge courses help students learn the prerequisites for a new pathway. We can work through Bridge material with your student, slow down a difficult concept or review the steps behind a homework problem. Sacred Heart and Menlo School
We’ve tutored students at Sacred Heart Prep and Menlo School, both here in Atherton. Sessions can focus on a challenging math or science class, organizing an essay or balancing assignments across subjects. For younger students applying to private school, we also offer entrance-exam tutoring. We start with the schools and grades on your list, then work on the reading, reasoning and math skills your child needs.
