Our Palo Alto Tutoring Program
We offer private 1-on-1 tutoring for all standardized tests and classes. Every one of our tutors is a current or former Stanford student. Our professional and experienced tutors can meet in your home or online. Learning at home also helps students build study habits they can keep using on their own, in the place they already do their homework.
Our approach ensures that every student benefits from a personalized curriculum and achieves their academic goals. Because many of our tutors are current students themselves, they can uniquely relate to the challenges of today’s middle and high school student.

Middle school math in Palo Alto
Palo Alto Unified’s standard middle school pathway covers four years of math in three, finishing Algebra 1 in 8th grade. For students at JLS, Greene or Fletcher, a tutor can review a confusing unit, practice multi-step problems and strengthen the skills each new topic builds on.
Preparing for math validation
PAUSD’s optional Math Validation process allows eligible students to advance one additional year in middle school math. We can help your student work through the material the course being challenged covers and identify topics that need more practice. For help with high school coursework, see our Gunn and Paly pages.
