Francis Parker brings 6th through 12th graders together on one campus, so a student can keep the same tutor from middle school math into upper school courses. Our tutors are UC San Diego students who help Parker students with their classes and Parker applicants with the ISEE.

We work with Parker students in math, science, English, history and languages, and with juniors and seniors on the SAT, ACT and college essays. Sessions are one-on-one, at your home in La Jolla or elsewhere in the San Diego towns we serve, or online.
Middle and upper school at Parker
Parker’s workload grows steadily from 6th grade on. Our tutors help students organize longer assignments, strengthen their writing and keep up in math and science. For essays, the tutor asks questions and gives feedback on each draft, and the writing stays the student’s own. Learn more about our English and writing tutoring.
The ISEE for Parker’s upper school
Parker requires the ISEE for applicants to its upper school. Applications are due February 1, with decisions in March, and applicants also visit for a classroom experience or an interview. We prepare Parker applicants one-on-one, starting with a practice test and working on the sections where they have the most to gain. Learn more about our ISEE and SSAT prep.
