The accelerated pathway

University City’s accelerated pathway runs through Advanced versions of its Integrated Math courses, which are meant to prepare students for AP calculus. A tutor previews each unit with your student before the class reaches it. Learn more about our math tutoring.

AP Physics 1

At University City, AP Physics 1 is open to students taking Integrated Math III, with no physics course required beforehand. Much of the AP exam asks students to explain why a result makes sense. A tutor practices those explanations with your student alongside the problem-solving. Learn more about our science tutoring.

“My son had a wonderful experience with Cardinal Tutors when he needed help with his High School math and science classes. It turns out my son also needed help staying organized with all his assignments, something that the tutor helped with as well.”

“Their response time is outstanding. Neil responded quickly to my tutoring request for my 15-year-old. Love knowing that I have access to these high-quality services for my children. And, we use them via Zoom since we live in Tennessee. I cannot say enough great things about this business:)”

American Literature Honors

Juniors in American Literature Honors take a comprehensive written final exam, required for weighted credit, that covers the course as a whole. A tutor reviews the year’s reading with your student, theme by theme, so the whole course is fresh for the final. Learn more about our English and writing tutoring.
