Both of San Ramon’s high schools, Dougherty Valley and California High, have Academic Leadership classes that train students to tutor their classmates. Our UC Berkeley tutors bring that kind of help to your home, one-on-one, for everything from middle school math to AP Calculus.
Tell us about your student, and we’ll match them with a UC Berkeley tutor who fits.
Your student meets their tutor at home in San Ramon, or online if that’s easier.
Moving ahead in middle school
San Ramon Valley students can move ahead in middle school math in two ways: a 5th-grade placement test each spring, or a summer online course for 6th and 7th graders. A tutor works with a student who has moved up a course, returning to the hardest topics until they’re second nature.
From Gale Ranch to Dougherty Valley
Our tutors teach students at Dougherty Valley and California High and at the Gale Ranch, Iron Horse, Pine Valley and Windemere Ranch middle schools. We also tutor San Ramon students who go to The Athenian School in Danville and to De La Salle and Carondelet in Concord.
Who your tutor will be
Your tutor will be a UC Berkeley student, picked after we hear from you about your student’s classes and what helps them learn. If you’d like a change later, we’ll arrange it.
What Cardinal Tutors families say
