Moraga is a close community built around its schools: Camino Pablo, Los Perales and Rheem, then Joaquin Moraga Intermediate and Campolindo, all supported by the Moraga Education Foundation since 1981. Our tutors are UC Berkeley students who come over the hill to work with Moraga students at home, or meet them online.
Moraga’s math path
At JM, students qualify for accelerated math through a set of assessments and their test scores, and accelerated students take Algebra 1 in 8th grade before starting Campo in Geometry Advanced. JM also runs a block schedule with an Academy period, much like the high school. We help students prepare for those placement assessments, stay strong once they’re accelerated, and build a solid foundation on the standard path.
Moraga schools
We tutor students from Campolindo High School, Joaquin Moraga Intermediate and The Saklan School, as well as Moraga families at Carondelet, De La Salle and Bishop O’Dowd.
Sessions are one-on-one, at your home or online. Tell us about your student, and we’ll take it from there.
